I am a student at Ellesmere College. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
My name is Rachel and I am working with Hazel, Jade F and Jade C on the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. It is awesome to see that you would like to own a gym one day and become a personal trainer.
I used to live in Canada and while I was there I actually worked as a personal trainer for a couple of years when I was going to university. I loved it! It was a great way to meet interesting people and to stay fit while I was in school. I really think that you should aim to complete your training and pursue your goal of becoming a trainer.
Speaking of training, you know where you can study to become a personal trainer? Are there special schools in your area that teach courses? Up here in Auckland there are a number of places that you can go including Unitec and AUT.
Wishing you and your family a lovely holiday. We'll look forward to blogging with you more over the next four weeks.
This is an awesome drawing of you with your dream job as a personal trainer. Did you use google drawing to draw this?
My sister and I go to Jetts fitness in Howick which is 5 mins from my house. I like going to the gym because it makes me stay fit and healthy. I also agree with your opinion that everyone should stay fit and healthy because it could reduce the risk of getting sick.
My dream job is to become a teacher, a fun and caring teacher that connects with every students. I like communicating with other people and I love doing arty things. When I have my own class, I am planning to do lots of art and musical activities with my students!
I hope to read more of your activity blog posts and comment on them.
It’s great to read another one of your blog posts! I love the drawing you have posted! I agree with you, that everyone should stay fit and healthy. I know when I go to the gym regularly I eat healthier as well. Which makes me feel great! Did you know you release endorphins when you exercise and that makes you feel happy?
I keep telling myself that I will start going to the gym again, because I got very lazy over Christmas so I don’t think I’m going to be very fit for my indoor netball game on Sunday!
Have you thought about what you would call your gym?
I look forward to reading more of your blogs soon!
My name is Clare and Im part of the Summer learning Journey, I work in the Ako Hiko Cluster in Auckland and today Im visiting the Uru Manuka cluster seeing all the wonderful work students at Hornby Primary school are doing.
I really love this digital image you have created here showing what you would like to do for a career in the future. Do you enjoy fitness and exercise at school? Its one of my favourite subjects to teach and I really enjoy working out and taking care of my health and well being. Those are some pretty impressive weights you have put in your picture. Do you know anyone who is a personal trainer? Its a really important job as people are always needing someone to train and encourage them to stay in shape and push their goals to help reach targets. Did you create this image on google drawing? You have done a top job here. Owning a Gym would also be a really rewarding job as you get to see people each day they come in with someone to cheer them on and you would get to know them really well.
Keep setting goals for yourself and achieving them. Would love to hear more about how you plan to become a personal trainer. Comment below.
