I am a student at Ellesmere College. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Kia ora Nick, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey. You have done an excellent job creating this list of 10 food items you would bring with you on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer! I can tell that you have put a lot of thought about what foods would last without being refrigerated by the amount of non-perishable items you have included on your list. Including dehydrated camping food was such a clever idea, and sports gels are a great item which I would never have thought of! I really like how you thought of biltong and salami. You are correct when you say that there are varieties of these which do not need to be refrigerated, and these would be perfect for a 3 week trip to sea. Do you enjoy eating the foods you have included on this list, or did you just incorporate items which you thought would last well at sea? What meals would you make out of the ingredients you have chosen? I look forward to your reply! Nga migi
Kia ora Kieryn, Yes I do enjoy eating these foods. Alot of them are my snacks I have regularly. The meals I would make are: *Dehydrated meal with veggies *Salad with veggies and salami *Canned fruit and nuts for breakfast Nga mihi Nick
